Ornamental Features:
A small clumping succulent with large flattened leaves which are a grayish green. Leaf margins take on a deep red color when grown in full sun.
   
Habit and Growth Rate:
Dark yellow flowers arise on two foot stems which emerge from the center of the rosette in early spring. Use soluble fertilizer or top dress with slow release at moderate rates.
   
Landscape Value:
Great for xeriscape or cacti/succulent gardens. Also makes a great potted plant.

Culture:
Likes full sun, but will take light shade. Leaves will show more red in full sun. Temperature hardy to 26 degrees. Takes high heat. Adaptable to different soils, but will do best in a well drained loose mix.
